We are beginning to get into our rhythm in second grade! The students are working hard and learning the routines and expectations of the classroom as we continue to forge ahead. We have been working on building our second grade "team" and the understanding of how important it is that we all work together for the common good of the team. Through group discussions and teaching the students to be aware and cognizant of social expectations, the second graders are practicing to be their best selves in the classroom and beyond.
Wednesday arrival and dress: The second graders have Dance and P.E. first period Wednesday morning (8:00). It is important they arrive on time and ready for these classes. 2nd Grade girls should wear their dance leotard underneath their P.E. clothes and the boys should come dressed in their P.E. clothes. They will change into their uniforms at the end of their Dance and P.E. classes. Thank you so much!
